Materials and Size 16 inches by 12 inches of handwoven cotton and acrylic fabric Colorful cotton lining 1 hook and eye Acrylic Heart Collar Pins- 1.75 inches by 1.25 inches, 2 layers of acrylic with 2 thicker gold chains (5 inches and 6 inches)
This houndstooth was designed and handwoven by me on my Fireside loom. All the pattern-making and sewing was done in my studio, Sideshow Textile Studio. Each handmade textile I create is seasonally inspired by a specific artwork or museum exhibit. Each fabric will only be woven once, making it truly one of a kind. This fabric was inspired by the Mary Quant exhibit I saw at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 2019. Her contrasting colors, celebration of self expression, and championing of FUN inspired me to make these bright and bold accessories.
